America using Pakistan as scapegoat for Afghanistan failure: Musharraf

Ex – President Pervez Musharraf Sunday accused the America of using Pakistan as a scapegoat for its failure in Afghanistan. In video link interview with a private channel from Dubai, Musharraf says that Pakistani troops should use whatever influence they’ve and tell the Haqqanis not to cross the boundary. He also says that the United states was answerable for handling Haqqani activities on the Afghan area of the border.

Admiral Mike Mullen had caused a diplomatic storm by indicating at a latest Senate hearing that the Haqqani network of terrorists was “a veritable arm” of Pakistan intelligence agency ISI and intelligence agency had instructed the militant group’s current assaults at United states setups in Kabul.

Terming Mullen’s report as irresponsible, Musharraf says that the blame game requires to stop, and that Pakistan and the United states need to come onto the same page against their general opposing forces. He says that the world must understand the point of view of Pakistan, and unless the US stops violating Pakistani likes and dislikes, there would be no more coalition between the 2 states.
