The Govt on Tuesday decided to uphold its decision of observing two holidays a week till October 31, 2010.The decision was made in the Energy Summit Review meeting chaired by Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday decided to continue with the conservation measures agreed upon in the first Energy Conference.
It was also decided that strict implementation on conservation measures will be ensured at all levels.All chief ministers of the four provinces and other officials concerned attended the meeting.
The meeting further decided that there will be no load-shedding at the times of “Sehr” and “Iftar” during the Holy month of Ramzan.
