Zaheer Abbas fears India may scuttle Bangladesh tour of Pakistan

Pakistan’s ex- Test skipper Zaheer Abbas worries that the BCCI might attempt to ruin programs by Bangladesh to send its team here the coming year in April. Zaheer Abbas, says the Pakistan Cricket Board should never rule out the potential for the Indians using influence over Bangladesh when the time came to making the last decision.

PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf currently met his Bangladesh board counterpart Mostafa Kamal after which it was declared by the BCB that it would be sending its side to Pakistan next yr subject to approval by a safety delegation that will go to Pakistan in January. The BCB reportedly approved Pakistan`s request after the PCB decided to not field a nominee for the post of vice-president and President of the ICC.

As per ICC rules, Pakistan and Bangladesh have to nominate a combined nominee for the post by December 31.The PCB has decided to admit Mostafa Kamal as joint nominee for the ICC jobs. “I feel there`s a chance of undue Indian impact over the Bangladesh Cricket Board, which is concerning,? Zaheer says. “Bangladesh may end up support out of the tour due to this impact after receiving PCB`s assistance over the ICC presidency,” the ex- skipper informed.
