Yuvraj Singh finishes 3rd round of chemotherapy

Indian stylish batsman Yuvraj Singh was on today released from hospital after finishing the 3rd and last cycle of chemotherapy to recover from a unusual germ cell cancer in Boston, United states.

Road to recovery begins now. Cannot wait to be back home,” Yuvraj tweeted. “Thank you 4 all ur love n desires from the bottom of my heart I’m certain they’ve worked well with the physicians treatment,” he says.

Yuvraj, who’s been in Boston since a few weeks ago, is likely to be back on the field in the initial week of May, as per his doctor. Yuvraj has gone hairless during the therapy.

Yuvraj Singh hasn’t played competitive cricket since taking part in 2 of 3 home Tests against the West Indies in November. He’s so far scored 8,051 runs in 274 ODI and 1,775 runs in 37 Tests since making his international debut in the year 2000.

Yuvraj Singh was named Player of the Competition in the World Cup for scoring 362 runs and grabbing 15 wickets in 9 games. During the treatment, Yuvraj had been paid a visit by famous ex- Indian spinner Anil Kumble.
