The Indian selectors dropped Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh for the forthcoming series against New Zealand. Yuvraj Singh, who made a comeback into the Indian team against Australia in the recently completed ODI series couldn`t do much after playing a remarkable knock in the initial game.
However, the selectors decided to reward all-rounder Stuart Binny and pacer Ishwar Pander for their consistency in domestic cricket. The BCCI confirmed the news through their official profile on Twitter. The ODI series will provide India a chance to get their first look at conditions where they’ll be expected to defend their World title as the ICC World Cup 2015 is set to be organized in Australia and New Zealand.
The Test team, that conceded the two-match Test series 1-0 in South Africa, will be without left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha.
