Young pacer Amir returns home, avoids media‎

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir came back home on Sunday after serving his prison phrase for spot-fixing in London.

Amir was sentenced for 6 months, but was released recently because of good behavior after serving half his sentence, for spot-fixing with 2 teammates, Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif — during a test against England at Lords in August 2010.

Salman Butt and Asif are still serving their prison phrases. Young Amir didn’t talk to the waiting media on arriving at Lahore`s Allama Iqbal Airport. Local Tv showed the young leftarm quick bowler — sitting on the back seat of a white car — being driven away to his residence in Lahore.

Amir is suspended by the ICC until Sept . 2015 for bowling deliberate no-balls.
