Pakistan’s cricketing icon Shahid Afridi has set all speculation of his impending retirement at rest by announcing that he has no plans of calling it a day any time soon.
All-rounder told the media on Saturday that he apologized to the country for his poor performance and would try to give his best in the next games. Shahid Afridi said that he has no program to retire from the international cricket so far.
Meanwhile, ex- Pakistan skipper Moin Khan has suggested all-rounder Shahid Afridi to take a break from cricket. Moin said that he didn’t agree with ideas that it was time for the all-rounder to call it a day from cricket.
“I don’t feel he should retire. I seriously feel he can still serve Pakistan cricket for a couple more years. All he needs to do now is take a rest from the sport, spend time with his family members and come back before the India tour fresh and confident,” Moin said.
