Ricky Ponting thrilled by dangerous Pakistan side

With Aussie’s important game versus SL washed out a couple weeks back, Skipper Ponting’s guys desire difficult competitors in front of the knock-outs and as they face Pakistan today, the side seems to include on their twenty-four game unbeaten run in last ICC World Cups.

Labelling one a ‘dangerous’ team, Ponting isn’t dwelling a lot of on the statistics – 17 victories during the last 22 ODIs versus Pakistan – but understands the risky previous champs can reveal the defending champs’  weak points in a game irrelevant for each teams’ improvement.“We are sensibly glad with our overall performance but points can usually progress,” explained Ponting. “There are parts that we can enhance and that’s what we’ll attempt to do. Preferably, you’ll notice good results of the event against Pakistan.”Ponting determined Afridi as the major risk that stood between his side and a perfect entrance into the quarter-finals. Afridi leading the wicket takers in this world cup with sixteen wickets and Ponting verified that he continued to be the middle of the side meeting.

While ruing the plan that has noticed Aussie take on the minnows right after the washed out game, Ponting is wanting to push his side into the previous eights on a successful note.
