Rahul Dravid likely to declare his retirement on Friday

Indian batsman Rahul Dravid is likely to declare his retirement from Test cricket on Friday. Rahul Dravid, who had a bad Test series in Australia, is set to make an announcement on Tomorrow at his home ground M Chinnaswamy stadium.

The 39 yr old ex- India skipper will address the press along with BCCI President, N. Srinivasan on Friday at the ground. He’d quit from ODIs and T20 Internationals during the England tour a year ago. He plays for Rajasthan Royals in IPL. Dravid made his Test debut in 1996 at Lord’s against England and has scored over 10,000 runs in both Tests and ODIs.

Rahul Dravid has played 164 Tests scoring 13,288 runs at an average of 49.77 with 36 tons. His highest score in Tests is 270 against Pakistan. He’s the 2nd top run-getter in Test cricket behind Sachin. He’s featured in 344 ODIs with 10,889 runs with 12 hundreds.
