PCB recalls Shoaib Malik and Abdul Razzaq for T20s against South Africa

Pakistani allrounders Abdul Razzaq and Shoaib Malik were on Tuesday recalled for the 2 T20 internationals against South Africa in Dubai. Abdul Razzaq, 33, returned to the team after he last played against Australia in the 2012 World T20 Cup in Sri Lanka and made a rift along with skipper Mohammad Hafeez.

Former skipper Shoaib Malik, who has played 216 ODIs and 53 T20 internationals, was sidelined after the Champions Trophy in England but has performed nicely in domestic cricket this season. Pacer Umar Gul, however, didn’t find favours from the the Pakistani selectors although he has resumed playing domestic cricket since he underwent a knee operation in Australia in May.

There were no other surprises in the 14-member team which is a combination of youth and experience.
