PCB angry with James Sutherland for spot-fixing remarks

PCB has asked for the ICC through a mail to do something against Cricket Aussie CEO James Sutherland for issuing a harmful remark against the PCB in a newly released interview.

The PCB was taken by shock over the comment made by Sutherland in which he claimed that previous year’s spot fixing scandal in Britain which resulted in bans against 3 Pakistan cricketers – Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Aamir, and test team skipper Salman Butt- was the outcome of PCB’s not work properly in applying the suggestions of Justice Qayyum judicial commission in 2001.

“As a associate country of the ICC and holding an essential spot in Cricket Australia, this kind of open public remark against a different ICC associate is extremely offensive and the PCB is hoping for the ICC to take steps against Sutherland as per the recommended principles,” the PCB has expected in the mail.
