Ex Pakistan fast bowler and recent team coach is pleased with the non-inclusion of Pakistani cricketers in the money-making IPL this season.Team coach considered that during the one end it is a big economic damage for the players but on the other side it is in the best interest of the state that cricketers aren’t taking part in in Indian Premier League which would keep them fresh and help them to keep their focus on national duties. Pakistani players were restricted to take part in the last three summer of IPL due to tension between the governments of the two countries after Mumbai problems and team coach took it as blessing in cover for cricket team.
Coach admitted that the last 6 to 8 months were extremely difficult for team however his players have performed difficult to generate the current wins. “Our side has new build and the boys are wanting to acquire cricket matches. We have attempted different combinations and now developing into a good team. We’re wishing for more victories in international matches this season and I am proud of my boys,” said team Coach.
“You can’t declare it’s a new team as a few of the players have made comeback to team right after performing in the household circuit. We don’t had a great last year in cricket as we dropped important players because of some controversies however I am hoping that we will win the series in NZ which will start new era in Pakistan cricket,” he included.
