Mohammad Asif agrees to provide details of spot-fixing

Pakistan banned fast bowler Mohammad Asif has decided to disclose details of spot-fixing to the Anti-Corruption and Security Unit of the ICC.

Mohammad Asif, 30, who finally accepted last week to his participation in spot-fixing during the 2010 Lord`s test against England, filed an apology and decided to cooperate with the authorities after gathering with PCB officials on Monday.

Mohammad Asif was banned by the ICC for 7 years, 2 of which were suspended, along with former skipper Salman Butt and fast bowler Mohammad Amir in early 2011. The trio later served prison sentences in the UK after being found responsible for cheating and corruption by a crown court.
