Virat Kohli dropped a step, but was still the best-placed Indian batsman at 4th in the most recent ICC T20 rankings released on today.
Kohli was followed by Suresh Raina at 5th and Yuvraj Singh at 6th. Both these batsmen increased a position to move up the list. However, no Indian found a place in the top-10 of the bowlers` list, while Yuvraj was steady at 3rd in the all-rounders` chart. Elsewhere, Australia opener Aaron Finch jumped 5 spots to a career-best 3rd place after the home team beat England by 84 runs in Sydney to sweep the series 3-0.
Finch notched up 92 runs in 3 games to move up the batting table. He is now on 772 ranking points, 23 behind England’s Alex Hales who has slipped a place to hand the top place back to New Zealand’s Brendon McCullum.
