ICC verifies Junaid as substitute for Sohail Tanvir

ICC on yesterday accepted Junaid Khan as a substitute cricketer for the unfit Sohail Tanvir in the Pakistan team for the WC beginning later this month.

The International Cricket Council has communicated the verification by ETC of the Cricket WC 2011 to PCB a report said.

Junaid will substitute Sohail Tanvir, who’s struggling with a knee problem. Sohail Tanvir was announced not fit by PCB which has wanted request a substitute for the whole WC.
