BCCI contemplates short India-Pakistan series in neutral venue

The BCCI is exploring the chance of playing a cricket series against Pakistan at a neutral venue like Dubai or Sharjah in the future. As per reports in the Indian media, the issue of organizing a series against Pakistan was briefly discussed at the Emergent Working Committee meeting in Chennai.

Also Zaka Ashraf’s return in PCB can be called a factor in this regard.

India hasn’t played any Test series against Pakistan since 2007-08 home series due to strained relationships, but were involved in a short limited-overs series involving 3 ODIs and 2 T20 Internationals with matches being played at centers like Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai in 2012-13.
