Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has banned all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan for 6 months on the allegations of violation of Code of Conduct. It is the 2nd occasion the all-rounder is dealing with disciplinary action.
BCB chief Ashfaq Hasan, talking to the media, said that it isn’t the first occasion that this type of behavior from Shakib Al Hasan has been adopted. Shakib Al Hasan has a history of bad behavior which directly affects the entire cricket team. He said that Shakib Al Hasan has been banned for Six months for violating the rules during which he isn’t allowed to take part in any type of cricket. Shakib Al Hasan went to West Indies to take part in the Caribbean Cricket Premier League matches without the approval of BCB.
When cricket coach asked him to take part in the training periods in August, Shakib Al Hasan threatened to announce his retirement from the ODI and test cricket. The coach informed the BCB about the wrong behavior which made a decision to impose ban of Six months keeping in view the player’s past record. Shakib Al Hasan had earlier faced a 3 game ban by BCB for Code of Conduct violation during the Asia Cup.
