Zee acquires satellite rights of ‘Himmatwala’ for Rs 40 crores

Sajid Khan’s upcoming movie Himmatwala, produced by UTV Motion Pictures, has already started to make loads of revenue. Sources disclose that the agreement for the satellite rights of the movie has been closed at Rs. 40 crs.
Zee has bagged the Tv rights.

However, UTV Movies can have limitless runs of the movie and further syndicate the film to other channels, according to one clause of the contract. In the recent past, Singham for Rs. 30 crore and Son Of Sardaar for Rs. 33 crore.

Sajid Khan’s Himmatwala, also starring Tamannaah Bhatia, is the remake of the 1983 Jeetendra-Sridevi movie, Himmatwala.

The movie releases on March 29, 2013.
