Actress Deepika Padukone, recently visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar to offer prayers on March 11, where she spent over an hour.
Deepika wore white shalwar kameez at the event. The actress prayed at the Sikh Shrine and donated Rs.1000.
Deepika was accompanied with ADCP Punjab Police, Parampal Singh.
The 28-year-old told Mr. Singh on her way out; “I don’t want to leave this place and it seems the Almighty is around me.”
The actress then headed to her hotel near the airport and later left for Mumbai. She is currently busy with her big project Happy New Year, which is directed by Farah Khan and is also starring Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Vivan Shah, Boman Irani and Sonu Sood.
