Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan, who is said to be a huge fan of Sachin Tendulkar, will reportedly go to Kolkata on November 8 to watch Sachin’s second last test innings.
Since SRK is banned from entering Wankhede stadium in Mumbai because of an alleged scuffle with the ground staff previously, he will try to catch Sachin’s match at Eden Garden in Kolkata, reportedly.
“I will go on November 10. I am going to Kolkata for a film festival and I will try and attend the test match there. I will see if I can reach, land up there and wish him,” said Shah Rukh Khan.
“There are some places (Wankhede stadium) where they don’t allow even Shah Rukh Khan to go. You wait three hours for me out of love, there are people who don’t want me,” he said.
He spoke about his disappointment over Sachi’s announcement of retirement and said; “When I heard about it I was in Australia… I learnt about it a little late…I felt bad. He has taken the decision as he understands sports better. He did a lot for cricket. He should take rest, relax and enjoy with family.”
