In quite a important step for Sooraj Barjatya’s Rajshri Productions, the filmmaker has opted to part with the TV rights of his launch ‘Bade Bhaiya’ (tentative title) to please Salman Khan.
Mumbai Mirror reports that the policies are being modified by Rajshri Productions for the 1st time in 52 years of the production house’s existence to fit Salman Khan’s business model. The report adds that it unconditionally says that he will not work in a movie unless and until the TV rights are given to him as part of his compensation.
Salman Khan is said to be retaining the rights of all his films so he can pass them on to Star Gold, who authorized a huge Rs. 500-crore agreement last year to air all of his forthcoming movies launched between 2013 and 2017. Sajid Nadiadwala’s film ‘Kick’, Boney Kapoor’s ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ and Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Bade Bhaiya’ are all likely to broadcast exclusively on the channel.
