The 2002 Salman Khan hit-and-run case has been dragging on for quite a while now. The most recent development on the same is that vital papers related to the case have gone misplaced.
After several postponements and many hearings, the case diary which included maximum of the documents related to the case, has been missing. The court has now directed the police to find the documents by September 12 and also submit a report on the prosecution’s course of action. So the next hearing will happen on September 12.
The case in question had started off on charges of fast and careless driving, but was later changed to a more grievous charge of culpable homicide not amounting to killing.
