Salman Khan faces identification crisis in Jodhpur court

Bollywood actor Salman Khan had come prepared to plead innocence in the blackbuck poaching case being heard in Jodhpur court, but the chief judicial magistrate managed to stump with his very 1st query.

“Is this Salman Khan? Check and verify his identification,” said the magistrate, after which the public prosecutor confirmed the records and sent a reply in the affirmative. Salman Khan, as well as his fans present on the court premises, was shocked by the question – but CJM Chandra Kala Jain insisted on going by the paperwork.

The actor appeared in the court on yesterday to record his statement as a charged in the blackbuck poaching case, which was reported in Kankani village, Jodhpur in October 1998 during the shoot of the film, Hum Saath Saath Hain.
