Superstar Salman Khan’s recent film “Jai Ho” has received a mixed response at the box office. The film is a Hindi remake of Southern film Stalin. Despite the response on Jai Ho, Salman hasn’t lost interest in this genre.
After getting the bad response on Jai Ho, there were reports that Salman is no longer keen on working in Southern remakes but he denied the reports by saying; “Who said I will not do any Southern remake ? Did I say that? No.”
“Whenever a good remake will come up I will do it,” Salman added.
So far, Sallu has worked in four Southern remakes including Bodyguard, Wanted and Ready and these three raked in hefty amounts but unfortunately, Jai Ho managed to pull in approximately Rs. 61 crore in its opening weekend.
However Salman emphasized that his next movie will have new to give to the audience.
“All my next films are of different kinds,” said the 48-year-old.
Salman Khan will next be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick.
