With Ranbir Kapoor now in France working on Imtiaz Ali’s forthcoming flick ‘Tamaasha’ opposite Deepika Padukone, his other movie ‘Roy’ could face more delays. As per Mid-Day, the second schedule of ‘Roy’, which was set to start mid-August is set to clash with the shooting of ‘Tamaasha’.
It has been reported earlier that the next final schedules of ‘Roy’ were initially to be set in South Africa, but the director Vikramjit Singh thought Malaysia would suit the script better. Producer Bhushan Kumar told Mid-Day, “We are starting the film’s next schedule from August 10 and Ranbir will join us from August 25, so there’s no clash.”
However, sources says that Ranbir Kapoor is needed to shoot for at least 40-45 days as part of Roy’s next and final schedules. The producers are looking at an early next year launch, which is why they apparently want to finish filming in September and start post production soon after.
This isn’t the first occasion that filming for Roy has been postponed. Earlier, both Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez have had date issues, thus delaying the film’s schedule.
