Versatile actress Priyanka Chopra, who is flying high with the success of her recent film May Kom, has reportedly been approached for another forthcoming biopic.
The film is said to be based on the life of retired police Officer Kiran Bedi, who was India’s first and highest ranking police officer.
Kiran Bedi served in various capacities as New Delhi traffic postings, Deputy Inspector General of Police in Mizoram, Director General of Narcotics Control Bureau besides others.
Priyanka Chopra who has been winning accolades for her portrayal of boxing champion Mary Kom has now been approached to play another real-life achiever.
In Mary Kom, Priyanka portrays the role of India’s boxing champion MC Mary Kom and now she will be seen as Kiran Bedi in upcoming biopic. Priyanka’s spokesperson has confirmed her entry into the project.
The film will be directed by Soham Shah.
