Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra who spent almost 1 year training under boxer Jharna Sanghavi, to get the physique of a sportswoman, was asked by Zoya Akhtar to lose all the weight in 20 days for her next film. Priyanka Chopra plays the role of a suave and modern businesswoman in Dil Dhadakne Do.
According to the role, her physique didn’t match upto to it. So she was needed to go on a high protein diet zero carbs diet. She was made to lose 7-8kgs in a period of 20 days. The former Miss World was also made to undergo regular workouts like running and skipping, cardio and weight lifting in order to achieve that ideal figure.
Her fitness instructor however recommends that it is not suggested to shed weight in such a short period, but exceptions can be made for athletes. Priyanka Chopra is presently filming in Barcelona on a cruiseliner for a two and half month schedule of Dil Dhadakne Do.
