Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has collaborated with superstar Salman Khan in the forthcoming ‘Kick’, says he performs a very thrilling role in the masala entertainer.
Nawazuddin says movie’s producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala had written the part keeping him in mind.
“Sajid told me that when the character was being written in the movie, he already had me in mind. Finally, when it was ready, he gave me a narration and I liked the role. It was a good opportunity,” Nawaz said in an interview.
The 40-year-old star, who has deftly played typical man characters in movies such as ‘Peepli Live’, ‘Lunchbox’ and ‘Liar’s Dice’, says people will find his role unique.
“This is completely different from what I have done before. I have mostly played the lower middle class person but not here. My character is grey and quite thrilling. People will enjoy it,” he added.
When questioned how his experience was working with Salman, he said that it was superb to work with the superstar.
“It was great. Salman made the working environment very light and easy because he is easy-going in real life. He is the most honest co-actor I had known,” Nawazuddin said.
Planned for an Eid release on July 25, the movie also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda.
