Bollywood’s Bebo Kareena Kapoor, who is looking forward to star shooting for her upcoming film Bombay Samurai, is apparently excited about the project. She says the film will be a very whacky one and she will do an unexpected role for the film.
“The director is from New York who has made slightly international cinema – Dev Benegal. So, it’s a very interesting concept,” said Kareena Kapoor.
“It’s not a thriller, it’s a very whacky film, something which my fans would not expect me to do,” she added.
Kareena Kapoor, who will share screen space with actor-singer Farhan Akhtar, said that Bombay Samurai will be a unique kind of film. The film will have both international and a commercial release.
“I am doing a very interesting film which is going to star Farhan Akhtar and me. I have never worked with Farhan, he directed me in Don when I did the song. It’s also going to be an international film which is going to be the first of its kind, which will get an international release apart from releasing in mainstream cinema here,” said the 33-year-old, who married actor Saif Ali Khan.
The actress is currently busy working for Rohit Shetty’s film Singham 2 which also star Ajay Devgn and is scheduled for August 15, 2014.
