The Indian director Dev Benegal has roped in Kareena Kapoor Khan and Farhan Akhtar together for the first time in his next film Bombay Samurai. Kareena has earlier worked with Farhan but as a director for 2006 film Don.
Reportedly, Kareena is quite excited about working with Farhan Akhtar. She praises the performance and acting skills of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag star.
“I think Farhan is spectacular and I’m certainly looking forward to working with him. I’ve worked with him as a director during Don (2006), but I’m excited about working with him as an actor. I saw BMB (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag) in parts, and I genuinely believe that his was one of the finest performances in the industry so far. In fact, after watching it, Saif (Ali Khan) even messaged him,” said Kareena in a statement.
There were rumours that Bebo will portray a new onscreen avatar in Bombay Samurai but she denied the reports.
“People like to write a lot of things, but that doesn’t have to be the reality. I don’t believe in reinvention. I’ve been around for too long now. If I like a story, I will do the movie, it’s as simple as that,” said the 33-year-old.
