Actor Shahrukh Khan’s recent detention incident at the New York air port might have received plenty of criticism, but actor John Abraham finds it justified. Supporting US, John said that he finds nothing bad in the detention.
Speaking with a top daily, John said that US has done their job in order to keep their country safe. In 2009, John Abraham too was detained at the New York air port by the FBI for having Afghanistan among the countries visited on his passport. But, he was discharged when he mentioned that he was an actor.
Shahrukh, who had arrived in US in order to visit the Yale University, was stuck at the airport for 2 hours. Though he was later released, the episode provoked almost a mini-war between US and India. Not only the Indian Govt, but several Bollywood celebs mentioned their anger and disapproval over the issue.
