‘Jai Ho’ copied from Hollywood flick?

It seems actor Salman Khan next film ‘Jai Ho’, which is the Hindi remake of A R Murugadoss’s 2006 Telugu movie ‘Stalin’, is actually inspired from the 2000 Hollywood flick ‘Pay it Forward’ that saw Kevin Spacey pair with Helen Hunt.

However, what’s surprising isn’t that only is the film inspired by the Hollywood movie, its trailer too is copied from the Hollywood film. A Mid-Day report claims that the start of Jai Ho is copied from Pay it Forward that sees Salman Khan scribbling what appears like a family tree.

Pay It Forward, based on a novel by Catherine Ryan Hyde, is about a boy who starts a goodwill movement. He receives support from his mother Helen Hunt and teacher played by Kevin Spacey. When the newspaper approached Jai Ho director Sohail Khan, he reused to comment about it.
