‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ likely to be banned in Pakistan

Pakistan’s censor board seems to have grown tighter with time. After Saif Ali Khan and Salman Khan, it’s Shahrukh Khan’s turn to get frustrated, for his upcoming film Jab Tak Hai Jaan might not receive clearance from the censor board across the border.

Agent Vinod and Ek Tha Tiger were banned in Pakistan and it looks most likely that Jab Tak Hai Jaan too would meet the very same fate.

Speaking with a leading daily, a source said, “The movie may get banned in Pakistan because it involves Shahrukh Khan in a Military operation in Kashmir. The trailer too has been stopped from being screened on different TV channels in Pakistan. The film shows Shahrukh Khan as part of a bomb disposal team in the Indian Military who’s up to a few serious actions in Kashmir, which may be the main reason it might be banned.”
