Imran Khan, the nephew of superstar Aamir Khan, has been working as an actor for the past five years but has not made friends yet. The actor says most of his friends are not from the film industry.
“I consider that friendship takes more time. I have been here for five years, not enough time to call someone a good friend. So it takes time…,” he said.
“You work so much in the industry. When you come home, you don’t want to continue to live in the same world. Some people are ok with it, but I can’t. My friends tend not to be from the same bubble” he said.
The grandson of late filmmaker Nasir Hussain, during his free time does not feel like doing anything.
“I do nothing. I spend so much time doing so many things that in your down time, you do nothing. You read, watch movies, sit at home, and visit friends” he said.
“Every time I asked if I am changing my image now, I don’t know how to answer that. As an actor, you don’t think about these things, you see if there is an interesting film and you do it. You don’t see how people will see you and all, that is irrelevant,” he added.
In his five years in Bollywood career, he has done films like Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Delhi Belly, I Hate Luv Storys and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.
Imran Khan decided to do Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara which is directed by Milan Luthria.
He praised the director and the writer’s creativity.
“I read the script and I couldn’t stop turning the pages. I feel that Milan’s strength as a director and Rajat’s (Rajat Arora) sense as a writer is in juicing those moments of drama. They know how to build it up and raise the stakes” he said.
Imran Khan will next be seen in underworld drama Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara.
