Housefull 2’s Anarkali in court

The NGO, Bharatiya Bhrashtachar Nivaran Sanstha has mentioned concerns to the song, Anarkali Disco Chali from Sajid Nadiadwala’s forthcoming film Housefull 2. The NGO’s contention is that the song’s words spread disinformation and change history. Maharashtra president of the NGO, Sameer Rai says, “Does Sajid Nadiadwala be aware of importance of Saleem in our country’s history?

In the curriculum, you find lessons on Saleem, who’s the son of Mughal emperor Akbar. After hearing to the song, kids in the state would surprise why Saleem stayed in a gali or why Anarkali went to a disco.” Sameer intends to register a PIL against the song on Monday, once the court opens after a 3 day break. Earlier Sameer attempted to discuss with film Maker Sajid, but his phone was hanged up several occasion. Now he’s planing to submit a PIL against the song on Monday.

“Before submitting the case on Monday, we’ll send a legal notice to Nadiadwala. We want the words of Anarkali… to be changed or else we will request the court to halt the release. We can’t allow folks to misrepresent our past.”Rai Says.
