‘Force’ to collect 6 crore on Day 1

John Abraham’s unique release film ‘Force’ is off to a nice beginning at box office. The reaction is much better at single screen cinemas than multiplexes. Directed by Nishikant Kamat, the film opened to an superb 75 to 90 % reaction at single screen cinemas. First day collections until the mid-day shows were around 6 crores…expected to do much better on the weekend.

Multiplexes, however, saw fewer footfalls, yet the occupancy ranged between 40 to 50 %, which is good enough, as the collections are predicted to go up more on Saturday and Sunday.Force has received mixed opinions from the experts, but the serious action in the movie is pulling in the people, yet again showing right the notion that action films succeed at box office.

Among the other 4 releases, only Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster succeeded to attract the audiences. The reaction on yesterday was between 20 to 25 % and the movie has got quite good opinions. Worst still, Chargesheet and Tere Mere Phere were a washout at cinemas. Guaranteed Flops!
