Kajol and Kareena Kapoor cast ‘We Are Family’, which opened to mixed reviews, has grossed about Rs.27 million (Rs.2.7 crore) from its paid previews.
The movie had a limited festival launch on Janmashtami (September 2) with paid previews – a day before the official launch on September 3.
Distributed by UTV Motion Pictures, ‘We Are Family’ is the Hindi adaptation of the Julia Roberts-Susan Sarandon starrer ‘Stepmom’.
It also stars Arjun Rampal and child actors Aanchal Munjal, Nominath Ginsburg and Diya Sonecha.
