‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ earns 65 crores before release

The forthcoming Boman Irani-Sharman Joshi starrer Ferrari Ki Sawaari has already received Rs.65 crs for its producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Collectively, the film’s theatrical, Tv, music and home video rights have reportedly been sold for a massive Rs. 65 crs. Despite the film’s launch being over a month away, the producers seem to be earning money already.

However, the main chunk comes from the sale of the theatrical rights, which alone have been sold to Eros for Rs. 42 crs, while the rest includes satellite, DVDs and music rights. The films Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, FKS has been directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. Highlighting a father-son relationship, it will be the initial movie that Sharman will be seen in after the 2009 hit 3 Idiots.

The film which is directed by debutante Rajesh Mapuskar is set to launch this June.
