After creative issues between filmmakers Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Gupta regards the plan to the prequel of ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’, there are reports doing the round that this time apparently there are issues in opinion between Kapoor and her co-producer Vishal Bhardwaj over the particular scenes of ‘Ek Thi Daayan’.
As per a newspaper, even though the film is set to hit the cinemas next month, the issues between the 2 have resulted in Ekta demanding the scenes be reset. Speaking with the newspaper, a source near to the unit said, “Yes, the buzz about the film being reset is true. Unit folk has been told that there has been a creative clash between the two producers. Ekta Kapoor wants to make the horror thriller more appealing to the aam Janata with Vishal has no option but to let it happen.”
“Cannon has been Vishal’s assistant director so naturally he, too, is greatly influenced by Vishal’s school of filmmaking. This is something that is not going down well with co-producer Ekta,” adds the insider.
