After Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express, that features the superstars Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, smashed the box office with its huge collection, Shahrukh Khan’s arch-rivals Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Hirthik Roshan are now gearing up to break King’s supremacy.
After Chennai Express, Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3, Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3 and Salman Khan’s Mental are lining up for release. The question is, which one will get the huge share of money and the tag of record-holder? The question is yet to answer because the films are being produced under the big banners, big budget and big stars. The films are releasing in the coming months.
Dhoom 3, Krrish 3 and Ranbir Kapoor’s Besharam are scheduled to release during Diwali and Christmas while Salman’s Mental projected for republic day next year (January 26, 2014). 2013 could well be the year with maximum Rs. 100 crore grossers with Chennai Express, which collected Rs. 216.86 according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Abbas Mastan’s Race 2.
King Khan has once again dictated his worth at the Bollywood box office by breaking the records of Aamir Khan’s superhit 3 Idiots. Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is apparently set to reclaim the title with his Dhoom 3 on which he is confident thet it will cross over Chennai Express.
How about Salman? For the past few years, Salman’s flicks have been doing record business and getting higher earning standard for his competitors. “I know his (SRK) film broke all my records. I’m looking forward to break all the new records, be it Aamir’s Dhoom 3 or Ranbir’s next film (Besharam),” said Sallu in a statement.
Where Taran Adarsh spoke; “The silver screen is all set to adorn a golden glow. Previous records will be shattered and new records will be set.”
It’s actually hard to answer that which flick will smash the previous superhits because the featuring stars’ popularity is all on the edge specially the three Kings.
