Indian celebs are used to being hounded by fans anywhere they go in the globe. Shah Rukh Khan has been mobbed by fans in Germany, Rajinikanth is very famous in Japan, while Amitabh Bachchan is regularly greeted by Egyptian fans in Cairo. And now, Deepika Padukone looks to have joined that list as during her recent trips, she was contacted by more foreign people than the Indians for autographs.
In June this year, Deepika Padukone toured USA and Europe with her mother, father and sister. On the other hand, she continued preparing for her movies – Imtiaz Ali’s next film along with Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next flick along with Ranveer Singh and Shoojit Sircar’s next movie – even when she was on holiday.
“During this trip, she was approached by many foreigners who wanted to click photographs with her. People from Germany, Japan and other countries, in addition to several NRIs, wanted to pose with her,” says the source. Apparently, Deepika Padukone was amazed to see that worldwide fans identified her. She is presently filming for Imtiaz Ali’s film in France.
