‘Chennai Express’ has already earned Rs.105 crore before release

Shahrukh Khan’s next film “Chennai Express” under the direction of Rohit Shetty is developing lots of buzz even though it’s in its initial phases of making.

Shahrukh and Rohit Shetty are teaming up for the 1st occasion and their combination is making a unique buzz in the industry. And if the buzz is to be believed, Rohit who was focusing on the remake of Gulzaar’s Angoor has put the movie on the backburner for “Chennai Express”.

Now the most recent news is that “Chennai Express” has been sold for 105 Crs. Rohit Shetty has become hot property after the success of his last film, ‘Bol Bachchan’ (2012). Therefore, news that his upcoming ‘Chennai Express’, starring Shahrukh Khan, has sold for a massive 105 crs should come as no big surprise.

A reliable source disclosed, “Shahrukh Khan and a film corporation are partnering on this one. Chances are that they’ll only sell the Tv, home video and music rights and actually keeps the international and Indian theatrical rights with themselves”.
