An FIR against actress Genelia D’Souza and 5 other people has been ordered by Hyderabad court following a case filed by Mr. Tirupataiah. In his case, Mr. Tirupataiah says that he’s given Rs. 54 lakhs to construct a duplex house at Maheswaram mandal on the outskirts of the city to the 5 directors of a real-estate agency as well as its brand ambassador- Genelia D’Souza.
Mr. Tirupataiah given the money for the construction of his duplex house in 2008 but till date it’s not been done. “Being the brand ambassador of the agency, Genelia also made untrue promises through ads and brochures and cooperated with other charged in cheating,” the plot purchasers Tirupathaiah’s lawyer Balaji Vadera said.
After the complaint, the court instructed Saifabad police to inquire the issue and also to file a case against Genelia and 5 other people for cheating under relevant sections of IPC. The court has told all the 5 to file a report by March 27. The fraud is reportedly of a massive Rs.250 Crs. There’s been no response from Genelia’s side.
