BodyguardBodyguard box office collection has earlier smashed 3 Idiot and Dabangg box office records in India. After a fantastic beginning in the local market, the film has surpassed the record of My Name Is Khan by receiving 194,000 pounds on the 1st day of screening in UK. My Name is Khan had generated 191,000 pounds on the first day in UK. The movie is also on its way to turning into the maximum grosser in the Middle East. It’s received $1.6 million in the first 2 days, slightly behind the previous maximum grosser Dabangg which produced $1.7 million.

“Reliance Entertainment’s abroad team is happy to have delivered one of the greatest overseas hits of the season. ‘Bodyguard’ is ready to be a record-breaking victory for Salman Khan in the global markets,” Sanjeev Lamba, CEO Reliance Entertainment says in a statement. A market viewer tells, “We are seeing abroad markets like West Asia recording collections of around $400,000 on day 1, which is massive for a Hindi film”.

The movie, which also actors Kareena Kapoor in the lead, has gained $3.8 million in the United states and is likely to overhaul the $5 million collections of Dabangg.
