The most recent buzz in Bollywood is that Movie director Madhur Bhandarkar has calmly contacted Kareena Kapoor to step in the breach left by Aishwarya Rai’s depart from Heroine.

However, Bhandarkar has rejected having contacted any actress, Madhur tweeted, “ Speculations in the press of me approaching actresses for my movie HEROINE are completely baseless !!! Whether i will restart movie HEROINE, will consider after discussions with UTV or a new film, will definitely up-date u in near future !!!.”

Apparently, at the outset, film producer Madhur Bhandarkar had scripted ‘Heroine’ with Kareena Kapoor in mind, but because of several not comfortable bold scenes in the film the actress rejected the proposal. Then later on Madhur zeroed in Aishwarya Rai to play the central figure in his film. However, this decision of the film producer also turned out to be unfruitful as Ash became expecting after the movie went on floors, and the venture had to be shelved.

According to the most recent tabloids, when Kareena was told if she was contacted for ‘Heroine’ again after Ash’s pregnant state, the actress preferred to keep tightlipped about the question and she quickly says “no remark.”
