The two Khans have set an Iftaar tradition of sorts. The superstars, who have been in a long animosity for past 6-years, hugged each other again at in Iftaar party. The party was hosted by Congress MLA Baba Siddique in Mumbai on July 07.
The Karan Arjun stars embraced each other with some encouragement from their host. Shah Rukh wore black while Salman was dressed in a blue shirt.
Last year, Baba Siddique’s annual party was the setting for the first Salman-Shahrukh hug. The superstar Khans had been at war since falling out at actress Katrina Kaif’s birthday party in 2008.
A high-powered audience of politicians and celebrities witnessed the hug between Salman and Shah Rukh.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and former Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde led the rank and file of local politicians.
There was a smattering of Bollywood attendees, including Salman’s father Salim Khan, and his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail. Besides them, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Pancholi and directors Sajid Nadiadwala and Madhur Bhandarkar were also a part of the feast.
