Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan may have used the reports of Aishwarya Rai’s pregnant state to get back at IIFA Awards, unceremoniously left him as brand ambassador currently. Big B, late yesterday tweeted about Rai’s pregnant state in microblogging site Twitter. Media reports that Big B learnt about Aishwarya’s pregnant state nearly last month, and anxiously waited for the right occasion to expose the reports to divert press interest from the famous film awards party.
A highly-placed source as stating that Bachchan learnt about Aishwarya‘s pregnant state nearly last month, but made a decision to retain it under wraps till June 21 as the IIFA fever was to strike the press circuits from June 22.The awards party is scheduled for June 23-25. Big B, who’s been the brand ambassador for the function for a decade, didn’t go to previous year’s occasion in Colombo.He’ll not go to this particular year’s occasion in Toronto either. He explained it was because IIFA didn’t desire him.
IIFA however claimed that Bachchan’s lack from previous year’s function pushed it to do away with the brand ambassador idea.The report included that Bachchan had also prepared to go the entire hog with his advertising for his upcoming Bbuddaah Hoga Tera Baap throughout the week to deflect focus from IIFA.
