After Nana Patekar, actor Aamir Khan reacts to Sanjay Dutt’s repeatedly parole extension. He said that nobody is above law and law should be equal for one and all. There should be no difference. Sanjay Dutt received repeated parole extension owing to his own health problem. His parole extension developed furore among public and administration.
While talking with a daily, Aamir Khan said, “I don’t think it’s right for me to comment on this matter…there are certain rules and regulations that prisons follow and I am assuming that they follow that for everyone. But if something has not been followed then whichever officer is responsible for that not only in Sanju’s case but in general then serious action should be taken against them as nobody is above the law.”
Sanjay was charged by the Supreme Court for illegal control of arms in link with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. The actor was sentenced to 6 years’ imprisonment. He had earlier served 1.5 years in jail and had surrendered before a Mumbai court on May 18, 2013, to serve his remaining phrase.
