Aamir Khan bans camera phones on sets of ‘Dhoom 3’

Ever since a couple of pictures from the sets of Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Dhoom 3 were leaked to a publication recently, the manufacturers of the movie have become extra-cautious. In order to prevent this kind of incidents, Aamir Khan, in agreement with makers Yash Raj Films, has now disallowed camera mobile phones from the movie set altogether.

Initially, the team was asked to keep their cell phones turned off on the sets. But the security violation proved that the strategy wasn’t foolproof. “So now the producers have provided the staff with cell phones that don’t have cameras. This way, they can stay connected and the producers will not have to worry about any photos or details about the actors’ looks getting leaked,” informs an insider from Chicago, USA, which is where the movie is being shot.

Aamir Khan’s individual entourage has to also adhere to this guideline as long as the filming schedule lasts till Oct 17.
